"Happiness is a journey, not a destination." -Souza
Throughout our lives, we experience miracles as well as sorrows. Life truly is an ebb and flow of constant change. Change can be hard, and so can the challenges and hardships we endure along the way.
When life throws you a curve ball, or if your life balance is not in sync, you can experience feelings of sadness, overwhelming anxiety, unmanageable stress, uncontrollable fear, and self-doubt. It can feel as though you are stuck and going around and around in circles. Rather than feeling you are alone in this struggle, I will meet you right where you are and will work with you every step of the way.
I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and accepting space where together we can explore both strengths and challenges. I utilize a whole-health model that emphasizes empowering you to begin exploring a life balance. A life balance equates to achieving fulfillment and meaning in your life.

We can explore areas that include career/school, family, friends, romantic relationships, obtaining and maintaining a healthy work-life balance, self-care, self-image, leisure, community, religion and spirituality, mental health, and physical health. We will also discuss coping strategies and tools to assist with managing symptoms, including symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress. Whether or not symptoms have recently began or if you have been experiencing these symptoms for many years, together we will work through ways to cope. This is a place to heal and where you can truly explore positive change and growth.
My approach is to be actively involved and propose possible ideas, options, and solutions.  I believe you are the best expert on you. My counseling method includes a combination of Person-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and other techniques.
